Vatpan UK Warranty Policy

At Vatpan UK, we are committed to providing high-quality products that meet the highest industry standards. Our warranty policy is designed to give you peace of mind when purchasing our products, knowing that we stand behind the quality and reliability of everything we sell. This policy outlines the terms and conditions of our warranty coverage.

1. Warranty Coverage

Vatpan UK offers a warranty on many of our products to ensure that they are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Our warranty policy covers the following:

a) Warranty Period:

     The standard warranty period for most of our products is 12 months from the date of purchase.

     For some specific products, such as server racks or cabinets, the warranty may vary. The warranty details for these products will be provided at the time of purchase or on the product page.

b) What is Covered:

     Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal use during the warranty period.

     If a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace the item at no cost to you.

c) What is Not Covered:

     The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence (e.g., improper installation, accidents, or modifications to the product).

     Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.

     The warranty does not cover products that have been damaged due to external causes, such as water damage, fire, or power surges.

2. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product is covered under warranty and is defective, please follow these steps to make a claim:

a) Contact Us:

     Reach out to our customer service team at info@vatpan.co.uk or call 0745 656 2727 with your order number, product details, and a description of the issue you are experiencing.

     We may request photographs or videos of the product and the defect to assess the situation more effectively.

b) Proof of Purchase:

     You will need to provide proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt. This helps us verify that the product is still within the warranty period.

c) Return Process:

     If the warranty claim is approved, we will arrange for the return of the defective product. We will provide instructions on how to return the product to us.

     If the product needs to be shipped back, we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label if applicable.

d) Repair or Replacement:

     Once the product is returned and inspected, we will either repair the faulty product or send you a replacement, depending on the nature of the defect.

     If a replacement product is not available, we will issue a refund equivalent to the purchase price.

3. Warranty Exceptions

While our warranty covers manufacturing defects, there are some exceptions. The following conditions are not covered by our warranty:

     Cosmetic Damage: Minor cosmetic issues, such as scratches or discolouration, that do not affect the functionality of the product are not covered.

     Improper Use or Installation: Damage caused by improper handling, installation, or maintenance is not covered under warranty.

     Modifications or Repairs: If the product has been altered or repaired by someone other than an authorised service provider, the warranty will be voided.

4. Warranty Limitations

a) Liability:

     Vatpan UK will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may occur as a result of using a defective product. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruptions.

     Our liability will be limited to the original purchase price of the defective product, and we will not cover any costs associated with the installation or removal of the product.

b) Third-Party Products:

     If a third-party product is used in conjunction with any of our items, and that third-party product is the source of the fault, the warranty on the Vatpan UK product will not cover the related damage.

5. Warranty Transferability

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product. If the product is resold or transferred, the warranty coverage may no longer be valid.
